What is your typical engagement model?
I work primarily as an embedded contractor or project-based consultant. Engagements usually range from short-term architecture audits (2-4 weeks) to long-term part-time or full-time embedding in delivery teams (3-6+ months).
What time zones do you support?
I am highly flexible with my availability. I operate within a broad window, generally from 05:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Caracas time / UTC-4). This allows me to seamlessly overlap with European morning schedules, the entire North American business day (both EST and PST), and all LATAM time zones.
Do you work independently or bring a team?
I operate as an independent senior engineer and technical lead. While I do not run an agency with junior developers, I frequently collaborate with and mentor existing internal teams to elevate their delivery capabilities and code quality.
Do you only work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)?
While Google Cloud (GCP) is my primary environment for high-velocity delivery, my architectural patterns are fundamentally cloud-agnostic. I design and adapt solutions using a standardized open-source data stack (e.g., dbt, Spark, Airflow, Iceberg, Dagster) that can be ported or replicated across AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments. My core value is building "future-proof" platforms where the business logic is decoupled from the cloud provider, ensuring long-term flexibility and avoiding vendor lock-in.
